The cherry on the top however is when Rinne (completely by accident) causes the brother to suffer his own mental breakdown.Instead, she effectively tells the brother that the evil trio deserved what they got and, as far as Rinne is concerned, are not even worth thinking about. Although she doesn't say it directly, Rinne indicates that if they are prepared to sink that low then the girls are not worthy of her pity or mercy. Now that she knows the truth and realises that those vile girls manipulated their own families in order to get revenge on her, they have proven once and for all that they still feel no remorse for what they did to her. Rinne then makes it clear to the brother that this offer is expired.To not only take responsibility for your actions like that but admit that you were prepared to take a severe beating as well takes real courage. She declares that had Sara and the other girls apologised for their actions, she would have not only forgiven them but allowed the group to return the favour for what she did to them back at school. Despite her later emotionless attitude what Rinne's says next demonstrates that she really does care about other people and shows what makes her different from her bullies.They attacked Rinne first, repeatedly and maliciously! First of all, Rinne spells out to him that no, those three girls were not her friends nor the the innocent victims here.The speech itself is nothing short of karmic. Instead of beating him up, like she did with Sara, Rinne proceeds to subject the much larger teenager to a harsh reality check via a massive "Reason You Suck" Speech aimed at both him and her bullies.For the next minute or so, their positions are reversed, as Rinne holds the brother at her mercy, proving that she is not a helpless would-be victim after all and that the man, like his sister before him has messed with the wrong person!

Upon hearing this, Rinne's guilt vanishes and she becomes very angry! Within ten seconds, she breaks free of her bindings and seizes her captor's arm in a vice-like grip. Glaring at Jill, he declares that he is avenging his sister and her friend's unjustified beating for a bit of light teasing and the betrayal they suffered at the hands of somebody who claimed to be their friend. Then, when Jill still won't budge, the brother says something that changes everything. For her part, Rinne completely agrees with him and is prepared to face the consequences for her actions, even telling Jill as much despite the latter trying to save her. Furious that the matter is being settled out of court, he makes it clear that as far as he is concerned, this does not excuse her actions and that justice is on his side. Throughout the entire ordeal, Sara's brother constantly goes on about the pain and trauma Rinne put his sister through.
The only thing that prevents her from going after the brother himself at first is when the scumbag takes Rinne hostage. When she arrives, Jill proceeds to effortlessly beat up all of the thugs in order to save Rinne, a girl that she does not even know.
